Use case

Build a job board app for your recruitment agency

A recruitment agency lives or dies on candidate flow. You post a fitter role for a factory in Coimbatore, a data-entry seat in Noida, three delivery-rider openings in Pune, and by evening you have 200 half-filled Google Forms, a WhatsApp group full of resumes named IMG_2231.pdf, and no clean way to tell the client who is actually walking in on Thursday. Kashvi lets you describe the exact placement desk you run and builds a working job board app from that description: postings by role and location, a candidate apply flow that works over WhatsApp, resume collection, INR salary bands, and a walk-in scheduler your recruiters can actually trust.

You do not fill in a template with 'agency name here'. You type what your desk needs, Kashvi generates the screens and the logic, and you refine it in a live preview until it matches how your recruiters and your clients really work. Behind that preview is a real Postgres database holding every candidate, every posting, and every scheduled walk-in, plus real sign-up and login so your Coimbatore and Noida branches see only their own pipelines. And you get the full source code to download and own, so nothing about your candidate data is locked inside someone else's runtime.

What a placement desk actually needs on day one

Generic 'apply with your LinkedIn' boards are useless for the roles most Indian agencies staff — warehouse, retail, BPO, security, field sales, nursing. Those candidates apply from a phone, over WhatsApp, often without a formatted CV. Kashvi builds for that reality:

  • Job postings tagged by role, city, shift and INR salary band (say 18,000 to 24,000 per month) instead of a single fuzzy CTC field, so candidates self-select and your call-list shrinks.
  • A short apply form a candidate can complete from a WhatsApp click — name, phone, current location, availability — with resume upload optional, because half your walk-in hires do not have a PDF.
  • Resume and document collection stored against each candidate record, so an Aadhaar photo or a typed resume lives in one place your recruiter can reopen months later.
  • A walk-in scheduler that assigns a candidate to a date, a branch and a slot, and shows each recruiter a clean list of who is expected tomorrow.
  • Client-facing status: shortlisted, interviewed, offered, joined — so the account manager can answer 'kaun aa raha hai Thursday ko' without digging through chat.
  • Per-branch and per-recruiter logins so pipelines stay separate and you can see who sourced which placement.

How Kashvi builds it from a prompt

You describe the desk in one paragraph. Kashvi provisions the database tables (postings, candidates, applications, walk-ins), wires the login, generates the recruiter dashboard and the candidate apply flow, and drops it into a live preview you can click through. Ask for a change — 'add a shift column', 'let candidates re-book a missed walk-in' — and it edits the running app. When you are happy, publish it as a web app your recruiters open in a browser, and build real Android and iOS apps from the same project via React Native so field recruiters at a job fair can register candidates from a phone with no signal-friendly hiccups.

Try: 'Build a job board for my staffing agency. Postings have a role, city, shift, and INR salary band. Candidates apply with name, phone, location and an optional resume, and I can book them into a walk-in slot at a branch. Recruiters log in and see only their own city.'

Try: 'Add a WhatsApp-friendly apply link for each posting that pre-fills the job title, and a screen showing every candidate walking in tomorrow grouped by branch.'

Try: 'Add candidate stages — applied, shortlisted, interviewed, offered, joined — and a simple report of placements per recruiter this month.'

Try: 'Let me bulk-import candidates from a spreadsheet and flag anyone whose salary expectation is above the posting band.'

Fair billing and code you own

Kashvi bills transparently and refunds the credits when an AI generation fails, so a bad build does not cost you. Because you download the full code, you can host it wherever you like, hand it to a developer to extend, or connect Razorpay if you ever charge candidates a placement fee or sell premium employer listings — the payment and INR pricing paths are first-class, not bolt-ons. Your candidate database is yours, exportable, and never trapped behind a proprietary format.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can candidates apply without a formatted resume?
Yes. The apply form asks for name, phone, location and availability, with resume upload optional. This is built for warehouse, retail, BPO and field roles where many candidates apply from a phone without a PDF, and you can still attach an Aadhaar photo or a typed note to their record later.
Does it work over WhatsApp?
You can generate a per-posting apply link that pre-fills the job title, which you paste into WhatsApp or a status. Candidates tap it, fill the short form, and land in your pipeline. Kashvi does not send messages for you, but the apply flow is designed to be shared through the channels your candidates already use.
Can each branch or recruiter see only their own candidates?
Yes. Kashvi builds real login and lets you scope pipelines by city, branch or recruiter, so your Noida desk and your Coimbatore desk do not see each other's candidates, and you can report on who sourced each placement.
Do I get an Android and iOS app or just a website?
Both. The same project publishes as a web app for recruiters at their desks and builds real Android and iOS apps via React Native, so field recruiters at a job fair or campus drive can register walk-ins from a phone.
Do I own the data and code?
Completely. You download the full source and your candidate data sits in a real Postgres database you can export. Nothing is locked inside a proprietary runtime, so you can self-host or hand it to a developer to extend.
What if a generation fails midway?
Kashvi uses fair billing and refunds the credits for a failed AI generation, so a build that does not come out right does not cost you. You retry or rephrase without paying for the miss.
