What building an app usually costs
Hire a freelancer and a simple portal or internal tool starts around $2,000–$5,000 and takes weeks — every change afterwards is a new invoice. An agency build for the same scope routinely crosses $20,000 with a multi-month timeline. Traditional low-code platforms look cheaper per month, but charge per seat forever and trap your app in a proprietary runtime you can never export.
Kashvi's model is different on purpose: the software itself is free to create, preview, publish and download — you only spend credits when the AI does work for you. A whole working app is typically a handful of credits; a tweak is one. There are no seats, no hosting meter on published links, and no exit fee, because the code was yours from the first file.
That is why the free plan is a real plan: 25 credits is genuinely enough to build something, put it in front of users, and decide if it earns more investment — the decision most teams currently spend thousands of dollars just to reach.

What is a credit?+
A credit is one unit of AI work: one build, one edit, or one chat answer about your project. Small tweaks and big builds both count as one run, so costs stay predictable. The optional Max-quality mode runs everything on our top model and uses 2 credits per run.
What do I get for free?+
Every new account gets 25 free credits — 5 the moment you sign up, and the other 20 as soon as you confirm your email (one click). That is enough to build a full app with a database and login, refine it over multiple edits, and publish it at a link. No credit card required.
What happens when I run out of credits?+
Your apps keep working and stay published — credits are only needed for NEW builds and edits. Top up any time with a one-time credit pack, or go Pro for a monthly allowance that rolls over.
Do unused credits expire?+
No — welcome credits and purchased pack credits never expire. Pro’s monthly credits roll over as long as your subscription is active.
Is the code mine on the free plan?+
Yes — ownership is not a paid feature. On every plan you can browse the full code, edit it by hand, and download the whole project as a ZIP. No lock-in, ever.
Can I build mobile apps on the free plan?+
Yes. Choose React Native, build your app, and scan a QR code to run it on your own phone. Store-ready export (Expo project) is included too.
Do my published apps cost anything to keep online?+
No. Publishing at a kashvi link is included. Custom domains and dedicated hosting options are on the roadmap as paid add-ons.
What does Pro include?+
Pro adds 100 credits every month that roll over, priority builds, bring-your-own Supabase and early feature access — ₹1,999/month in India or $25/month internationally. Subscribe right from this page.
Which payment methods do you accept?+
Payments run on Razorpay. In India: UPI, cards and netbanking in ₹. Everywhere else: international credit and debit cards, billed in $. Prices switch automatically based on where you are, and you can toggle the currency yourself.
Do you offer refunds?+
Yes — if something we shipped is broken and burned your credits, we return them automatically. For payment issues, write to us and we’ll make it right.
Do you have team or enterprise plans?+
